Be sure your photo is selected by clicking in the title bar>Select
Image>Add Borders... While the dialog box is open, move your
cursor over your photo. Your cursor should turn into an
eyedropper tool. Click on a color in the photo that will
contrast nicely. Set your border sizes to 6 pixels>Click OK.
A small border should appear around your photo.
|
 |
| |
| 10. Next we are going to copy your photo and layer it
over your canvas. Right click on the top Title Bar of your
photo and select Copy. |
 |
| |
| 11. Right click on the top Title Bar of your
frame image and select Paste>Paste as a New Layer. You should
now have your photo centered in your frame canvas. |
| |
| 12. Now, let's "fancy up" your
frame. Click Effects>3D Effects>Chisel. On the Chisel
dialog box, select Transparent and 18 pixels. You can vary
these as you wish for different effects. Click OK. |
 |
| |
| 13. Now click Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. |
 |
| |
| 14. Set Offset Vertical and Horizontal to 4. Opacity=100 and Blur=4.95. Color=Black. Click OK. |
 |
| |
| Notice that you now have a very three dimensional effect on
the center part of your frame. There is still just a little more
work to do. |
 |
| |
| 15. Click Effects>3D Effects>Buttonize. Height=15,
Width=15, Opacity=63, Edge=Transparent, Color=Black. Click OK.
You can repeat this step several times to increase the effect. |
 |
| |
| You can make dramatic differences just by "fiddling" with all of these
settings and using different patterns. |
